  • All our dresses are handmade to order. Once payment is confirmed, production takes 2–5 business days depending on customization.

  • Please make sure your size, address, and order details are correct to avoid delays.

  • We ship worldwide using trusted express couriers (UPS, DHL, FedEx, Aramex, Blue Dart). Delivery usually takes 5–9 business days after dispatch.

  • Some items with free shipping may be sent via postal service and arrive in 10–15 business days.

  • Customs duties, import taxes, or local charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in shipping costs.

  • Free shipping is not available in certain countries/regions (including Russia, Brazil, most of Africa, the Middle East, South America, and some parts of Europe).

  • After dispatch, we will email you a tracking number so you can follow your shipment.

  • Every order is packed in secure, tamper-proof packaging to ensure safe delivery.


Undeliverable Packages & Wrong Address Policy

  • Customers are responsible for providing the correct and complete delivery address at checkout.

  • If the courier is unable to deliver due to an incorrect address, incomplete details, or recipient not available, the package may be:

    1. Returned to us, or

    2. Held at the local courier office for a limited time.

  • In such cases, the buyer is responsible for:

    • Re-shipping costs, and

    • Any return charges billed by the courier.

  • If the buyer chooses not to have the order re-shipped, a refund (minus shipping and handling costs) may be issued once the product is safely returned to us.

  • We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by customer error, local postal restrictions, or customs clearance issues.

Order & Shipping Policy

At African Attire Shop, each item is custom-stitched on order and shipped with verified tracking details for complete transparency. Our Refund and Return Policy is clearly stated on our website (www.africanattireshop.com), and customers are requested to contact us within 24 hours in case of any delivery or product-related issue before opening a dispute or chargeback. Once an order is marked as delivered by the courier, it is considered successfully completed unless reported otherwise within the specified timeframe.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order is marked as “Delivered” by the shipping carrier, we are no longer responsible for the package. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please:

  • Check the “Left At” location on the tracking details (e.g., Rear Door, Porch).

  • Check with household members or neighbors.

  • Contact the carrier (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.) to initiate a trace or investigation.

Yes, we offer exchanges for eligible orders. Custom-made items can be remade with extra care.

If your package is lost in transit and not marked as delivered, please contact us with your order number and tracking details. We’ll open an investigation with the shipping carrier, and if the package is officially confirmed lost, we’ll either reship your order at no extra cost or issue a full refund, depending on item availability. Please note, carrier investigations may take 10–15 business days to complete.
