At African Attire Shop, all garments are handmade and custom-stitched by skilled artisans. Once your order is prepared, we ship worldwide using trusted courier partners to ensure safe and timely delivery.

1. Order Processing Time
All orders are stitched and prepared after the order is placed.
Standard Processing Timeline
Custom & handmade items: 3–7 business days
Heavy embroidery / bridal gowns: 7–15 business days
Ready-made items: 1–3 business days
Processing time does not include shipping time.
During high-demand seasons (Eid, Ramadan, Christmas, wedding season, and Diwali), the processing time may increase by a few days due to workload.
2. Shipping Time & Estimated Delivery
We ship globally using premium couriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, DPD, and India Post EMS.
Estimated Delivery Time:
USA: 5–10 business days
UK & Europe: 6–12 business days
Australia: 10–15 business days
Canada: 6–12 business days
UAE / Saudi Arabia / Middle East: 4–8 business days
Rest of the World: 8–18 business days
Delivery times may vary due to location, customs clearance, weather, or courier delays—these are beyond our control.
3. Tracking Information
All shipments come with full tracking details.
Once your order is dispatched:
You will receive a tracking number by email or WhatsApp
Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to reflect on the courier’s system
If tracking shows “In Transit,” “Out for Delivery,” or “Customs Clearance,” it means the package is on its way.
4. Delivery Marked Complete
Once the shipping carrier marks your package as Delivered, the order is considered successfully completed.
We do not take responsibility for:
Packages that are delivered to the correct address but not received
Items stolen from porches, mailboxes, or doorsteps
Delivery marked as complete by the courier
5. Lost or Stolen Packages
If tracking shows “Delivered” but you have not received your order, please:
Check the “Left At” location (porch, back door, reception, mailbox)
Ask neighbors or household members
Contact the courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.) to open an investigation or trace
African Attire Shop is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after the courier marks them as delivered.
We will assist with guidance, but replacement or refund is not possible for courier-confirmed deliveries.
6. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
Please ensure your address is correct at checkout.
If a package returns due to:
Incorrect or incomplete address
Customer unavailability
Refusal to accept the package
The customer will be responsible for reshipping fees.
7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes charged by your country.
These charges are:
Not included in the product price
Not covered by African Attire Shop
The responsibility of the customer
If a package is returned due to unpaid customs, the reshipping fee must be paid by the customer.
8. Courier Delays (Not Our Responsibility)
African Attire Shop is not responsible for delays caused by:
Weather issues
Customs inspections
Flight delays
Courier strikes
Public holidays
Incorrect tracking system updates
These factors are entirely controlled by the shipping companies.

If you need an item urgently (weddings, events, Eid, etc.):

We try our best to deliver quickly but cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.

Express courier delivery usually takes 5–8 business days after dispatch. Items with free shipping may be sent via postal service and take 10–15 business days.

All our dresses are handmade to order. Production takes 2–5 business days after payment confirmation.
Yes. Once your order is shipped, we’ll email you the tracking number and courier details so you can track your delivery.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact our customer service team within 12 hours of placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order if it has already been processed.
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt of your order. To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item(s) must be in new, unused condition, with all tags and packaging intact. To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team. We do not offer refunds for shipping fees.
Yes, we offer exchanges for eligible orders. Custom-made items can be remade with extra care.
If your package is lost in transit and not marked as delivered, please contact us with your order number and tracking details. We’ll open an investigation with the shipping carrier, and if the package is officially confirmed lost, we’ll either reship your order at no extra cost or issue a full refund, depending on item availability. Please note, carrier investigations may take 10–15 business days to complete.
Once an order is marked as “Delivered” by the shipping carrier, we are no longer responsible for the package. We are not liable for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
Customers are responsible for both-side shipping charges.
Yes. Customs duties, import taxes, and local charges (if any) are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the shipping price.
