1. General Information
African Attire Shop is an online store offering handmade and custom-made kaftans, abayas, and ethnic wear.
By using our website, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old.
You are providing accurate account, payment, and delivery information.
You will not misuse or attempt to harm our website’s security or systems.
2. Handmade & Custom-Made Products
Most of our products are handmade, made-to-order, and crafted by skilled artisans.
Therefore:
Slight design variations, embroidery differences, or minor imperfections are normal.
Processing time may vary depending on workload and the complexity of the design.
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once stitching has started.
By placing an order, you fully agree to these handmade product conditions.
3. Order Confirmation
Once you place an order:
You will receive an email confirmation.
We will start processing the order immediately.
You are responsible for reviewing your order details (size, color, measurements, address).
If any detail is incorrect, you must contact us within 12 hours.
After that, we may not be able to make changes.
4. Processing Time
All our dresses are handmade, therefore processing time may vary.
Standard Processing Time:
Ready items: 1–3 business days
Handmade items: 5–12 business days
Heavy embroidered/custom designs: 10–18 business days
Processing time does not include shipping time.
High-order seasons (Eid, Ramadan, wedding seasons, Diwali, Christmas) may slightly extend processing time.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide using trusted shipping partners (UPS, DHL, FedEx, Aramex, etc.).
Estimated Delivery Time:
USA: 5–10 working days
UK & Europe: 6–12 working days
Australia: 10–15 working days
Middle East: 4–8 working days
Delivery time may vary depending on customs clearance, courier delays, or weather conditions.
We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier company.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive the tracking number.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import fees, or taxes charged by your country.
These fees are not included in our product or shipping price.
The customer is responsible for paying any customs charges.
7. Cancellation Policy
Orders can only be cancelled within 12 hours.
After this period:
Materials are arranged
Work begins
Cancellation is not possible
Custom or personalized orders cannot be cancelled at any stage.
8. Refund & Return Policy
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless:
The item arrives damaged
You receive the wrong product
Eligibility for Refund:
Clear unboxing video is mandatory
Item must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
Must contact us within 24 hours of delivery
Refund Method:
Refunds are issued only through the same payment method you used at checkout (PayPal, card, etc.).
Processing time for refunds depends on your bank or PayPal.
Refunds for Custom Orders
Custom-measurement or personalized orders are non-refundable under all conditions.
9. Color & Embroidery Variations
Due to lighting, screen display, and handmade craftsmanship:
Colors may appear slightly different
Embroidery and patterns may vary 5–10%
These variations are not considered defects.
10. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery
The customer is responsible for entering the correct shipping address.
If the package returns due to:
Wrong address
Customer unavailable
Refusal to accept delivery
The customer must pay the reshipping fee.
11. Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the courier, African Attire Shop is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven’t received it, please:
Check the “Left At” location shown in tracking
Check with household members or neighbors
Contact the courier (UPS, DHL, FedEx, DPD, etc.) to start an investigation
12. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

Other available payment methods on the checkout page
Prices may change at any time without prior notice.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on AfricanAttireShop.com (images, text, designs, product photos) is owned by us.
You may not copy, resell, or use our content without permission.
14. Order Delays
Handmade products sometimes require extra days for sewing, embroidery, or quality checking.
You agree not to file disputes or chargebacks for delays caused by:
Processing time
High-order seasons
Shipping company delays
Customs delays
We always ensure the product is delivered.
15. Customer Measurements
For custom-size orders:
We stitch according to the measurements you provide.
If measurements given by the customer are incorrect, we are not responsible for fitting issues.
Alteration cost will be the customer’s responsibility.
16. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute:
Contact our support team first
We aim to resolve all issues respectfully and professionally
Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account restriction.
17. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes apply immediately upon posting on our website.
